YL 5 Day Cleanse- After Day 1

Well day 1 of the Young Living 5 Day Cleanse went better than expected.  I started it on Memorial Day in hopes that I can control and adapt to this while at home.  I was hoping I could stay busy enough where I could keep my mind off of it.

Preparations for this wasn't too hard.  Over the weekend I bought all the food I needed.  Looks like I'll be living off of fruit, raw veggies, Tea and Water.

Making the shake wasn't too hard.  I used the Magic bullet to mix it all.  The vanilla flavor was alright, but I soon tried adding fruit to it for my dinner shake.

The first meal was at breakfast. That wasn't too hard to take in.  I don't normally eat breakfast, so it was just something that filled me up earlier in the day.

Lunch was isn't too bad either, but naturally I would have liked to eat something extra.  I had to run to the grocery store and it was a challenge to see all the snacks and food there and control my urges to buy something.  The one tough part was that my post lunch snack was raw broccoli and tea.  The broccoli I didn't mind although it was a little raw and I tried to have some fruit flavored Tea and I wasn't able to drink more than a few sips.

Dinner wasn't too bad either. I had 4 straight hours of lessons and I was just naturally tired from that.  I came home and had my liquid meal and my 1 cup of blue berries.

This morning I was pretty exhausted.  Feeling of no energy to get out of bed and get up.  The Day 2 review said that energy will be restored a little more.

1 day down, 4 to go.

5 Day Cleanse

Tomorrow I will be starting the Young Living 5 Day Cleanse.  For a while I've been pretty excited about this. But today, I've started to have some hesitations.  Thinking about not being able to eat certain foods entered my mind.  Wondering if I'd have enough self control to keep up with it.  Also on Wednesday we are suppose to have a company wide BBQ, and I was starting to use this as a reason to not start this.  But Monday through Friday is the only stretch of the next few weeks where it is the easiest to manage.  This 5 Day Cleanse is suppose to help me retrain myself and curb my appetite as well as try to lose weight.

I wish myself luck and hopefully I have the will power to stick this out.
